oh, i also learned to knit. i don't like that as well, but i have made two scarves. i didn't get photos of either of them, though, before i gave them away. i will have to hunt down the "proud" recipients and see if i can take some pictures of my handiwork.
in reality, i don't know why ANYONE ever homemakes things. it costs way more than it does to just buy something a machine (or a small child in a sweatshop) made. it was entertaining, but it's definitely not cost effective. so i guess we do it for the craft of it. i'm glad i learned SOMETHING at school. :)

You are practically Martha Stewart!
So cool Danelle! I tried crocheting once in 6th grade and failed miserably. My husband actually had to finish the project for me so I could get an A. Hats off to you!
I am super impressed! I have been looking all over the valley to find a crocheting class...seriously! I want to learn how to make those cute beanies with flowers on them. You are right, it is not cost effective, but down right impressive to me! Good job!
I love all the fun patterns you put in them and that each dish cloth has it's own little scrubby. . . very friendly.
Also, I want to ask Tiff (of Tiff and Dev, earlier comment) were you married in the 6th grade or did they give you an extension on the project so you could have a husband to finish it?
I love the colors and different designs. My green one is great! And I love my beautiful scarf...especially all the personal touches you put into it! Thank you!
I LOVE MY SCRUBBY AND DISH CLOTH! THANK YOU for going back to school so i could get a cool gift
