nothing says "easter" like. . .

i hope you all had a fantastic easter. this post includes some of the highlights from MY easter weekend. i apologize in advance for failing to get photos of some of the details:

saturday:

getting ready to go to matt's parents' house, with matt and karen, for an easter dinner:

peggy made us a delicious meal of ham, pasta salad, green salad, deviled eggs, rolls, lemon cake, and tangerines (fresh from her very own tree.) she is always so thoughtful, buying a mtn. dew just for l'il ol' me. yum!

sunday:

after attending church, matt took me on an easter adventure. i should have taken a photo of him in his church clothes, he was so very svelte (in the most handsomely, manly sense of the word.)

our first stop was to test my eyesight trying to locate one of these:

on the side of one of these:

there, can you see them? it took me a while.:

when i moved up here, for this round of college, i had a list of things i wanted to do. matt has been very accommodating and we've done most of them, but there are still a few items left on my list. . . and with my time here QUICKLY coming to an end, we decided to stick with the mountain theme and knock off one of my to-do list items all in one completely easter-appropriate activity. yep, that's right, we ate easter dinner at:

here i am, looking like i've just rubbed my eyes to the point of rawness. . .because i have. stupid spring allergies and mountain goat adventures, don't really mix. matt told me he'd give me a dollar if i asked for an application. i'm sad to say, i chickened out. i used to be so brave...or maybe immature. i think this whole "college graduate" thing is changing me. sad.:

and is it just me, or does my buffalo chicken sandwich look like it was made especially for our fine dining location?

monday:

those are just a few of the highlights, there is still more to come. i am having a little get-together, tonight, to drag the celebration out a little longer. i mean, come on, we haven't even colored eggs yet! i'll try to post again, soon, with some of the goodies tonight has in store. for now, i need to go start getting things ready, i am making yet another, completely non-traditional easter meal. i'll give you a clue: it starts with an 'L' and ends in 'ettuce wraps.'

happy easter!

Hooters for Easter reminds me of The Proposal when Gammy says looking for her breasts is like an Easter egg hunt.

Go to church, then to Hooters....Doesn't everyone do that for Easter?
