lance and puke

so, here are the highlight and low point of my life last night. first, let me say thank goodness for the high, or the low would have been harder to handle. to start off, my friend and her husband are spending a "romantic?" valentine's day at the daytona 500 in florida, so i am spending the week with their three awesome children. well, two and a half...half of one of them is not doing so well. seems as if i may of let him eat a little too much of his valentine candy, so in response, his little tummy let me know that was NOT okay. at around midnight...2am....3am...

candy is so much more appetizing before it's been chewed and partially digested. and thank goodness for wooden floors. i'd hate to imagine how i would have had to work to get that stench out of carpet!

but, i was in a good mood when it all occurred, because a friend from the past popped up in my e-mail inbox last night. i've been a little homesick for my college hometown lately, so it was exactly what i needed to make my heart smile. lance worked with me when he was a teeny-tiny high school kid, he is H-I-LARRY-US. So, lance, old-boy, thanks for making my night of puke patrol more tolerable.

and john & jonnie...i hope you're not eating too much chocolate in florida and regardless of the little puke fest, we are having a great time here.
