bounce back to lagoon

since i went to lagoon last week, i could "bounce back" this week for only $10. well, that's a lie, because you have to pay $8 for parking, but still, a regular pass is, like, $42 or something, so spending $18 is way better than $50. i thought i was going to have to go spend the day at lagoon all by myself, which i was willing to do, because i really enjoy amusement parks, but then a little happy surprise occurred. i found out a friend of mine, from when i was a nanny in new york, was going to be there for a family reunion. i love her family, so i did what anyone with as little tact as i have, would...i invited myself to join them!

on our way to rattlesnake rapids we passed this lily pad pond...it was really nasty, it looks way better in the photo. it was like a little swamp right in the middle of pioneer village...blech:



and then i put my camera in a plastic bag, so it didn't get ruined by the rapids, and i never took it out again...so, even though the rest of the trip was super fun, that's all i've got to share. it was so much fun to see krinny and her family again.
