two little monkeys

you know the saying, "monkey see, monkey do"? well i have apparently created some monsters. i was just downloading my camera photos and a few of the photos were a surprise to me, because i didn't take them. however, the style was all mine. i am the queen of self-portraits...so it's no wonder my niece and nephew are semi-pros at it, as well. here's what parvati and kirby did with my camera while i was in the restroom at lagoon:

okay, so they've still got a ways to go, but they're learning...from the best, i might add. since i've lived closer to them, for this past year, i have got to hang out with parvati and kirby a lot more. it has been a lot of fun. here are more photos from our day at lagoon:

parvati and me on the tidal wave:

parvati on the sky ride, where she pointed out all the lost flip-flops, sunglasses, and other items people have dropped on top of buildings:

parvati on the samurai, which i didn't go on, because i didn't want my mammary glands to be pushed out my spine from the over-the-shoulder harnesses:

parvati and matt on the jet star 2, which debuted in 1976 and won't allow single riders...sucks if you're in a group of 3, but i willingly gave up my seat...just call me marty:

this was supposed to be matt and parvati on the ride, but as you can see, i am better at self-portraits...sorry matt (dude, he's so skinny, he can hide behind a pole!):

and then these photos were taken up at a resort in midway, when parvati, kirby, faye, and i went to visit "mom" and i just think they're super funny:

parvati and kirby:

me and parvati:

anyway, it's been lots of fun spending more time with them. i go over to their house a couple times a month for food and game night. we play scrabble, phase ten, yahtzee, clue, pass the pig, and boggle. fun stuff.

however, since my poor, poor, poor little feff died recently, i probably won't be making as many trips over to visit them. yes, that's right. feff died. that's all i want to say on that matter for right now. (sniff, sniff)

We haven't even been to Lagoon at all this year! Yeah, and no Samurai for me. I wonder if I should get a mammogram, though?

You are so fun! I love your self portraits. On facebook I hope you know I was referring to the puckered lips and chest pushed out pics that we often see on facebook. I love your blog, you always seem to have a great time! You are so full of Awesomeness! Sorry to hear about feff.
