hot water's extra

so my "friend" summer stopped by my house tonight to bring me some fresh eggs from her pet chickens. while she was here she informed me that her hot tub was waiting for me to enjoy it. WOOHOO!

so, after i watched the tear-jerking episode of survivor i suited up and headed over to her house. no one was home, but i didn't let that stop me from taking advantage of a relaxing dip in the ol' hot tub.

i pranced around the back of the house and actually giggled a little as i thought of how great and relaxing it was going to be. but....when i hefted the gigantic lid off the pool of magic healing waters....nada. zilch. nothing. zippo. i'm talking a sacrament cup has more water in it than this tub had.

apparently i was on some sort of hidden camera show. people somewhere had to be laughing at my expense. i got into a swimsuit for this? well, i wasn't going to let a fresh leg shaving go to waste. no siree. i jumped back in the car, headed to the grocery store, bought some donuts and gingerale, tucked them into my tankini top and caught the late showing of the fast and the furious. never been so comfy in a movie theater in my life. can't say as much for the poor saps sitting near me.

anyway, thanks for the laugh sum. i'll know next time to bring my own hot water. oh, and now the question is....do i risk eating the eggs?



this is not me, obviously my legs are sexier than this, and my nails are jungle red...oh, and i didn't actually get to sit in a tub full of water to enjoy a beautiful evening sipping nectar from a snazzy glass while reading a novel and eating bonbons.
