new year, new round of thanksgiving dinners

so, you know how i had 5 thanksgiving dinners last year? well, this year i might beat that record. my friends started the turkey dinner festivities off early. we all gathered at karen's house for a most delicious meal which included turkey, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, asparagus, rolls, and stuffing.here's my plate of goods:

and for dessert i made a cherry pie and a banana cream pie to go along with the cinnamon bread that emmy made. here todd is showing off emmy's creation:

after we ate, we played an exciting game of pictionary with play doh. it was more difficult, having to sculpt the clues, but certainly more entertaining, as well. turns out i am a horrible sculpter, but a fairly good guesser. my team lost, but none of us cried. we're mature that way.

i can't believe all the snow in b-town. i saw a lot of photos on facebook, but here is one that summer sent me via email.

and here are some photos of my baby, maggie, that mitchel just emailed me. WHOA! i sure hope an avalanche doesn't occur while poor mags is going potty...it will take her out!

i'm glad i can appreciate it from afar. i definitely don't want to drive in THAT up here. people sledding off of roofs (why is the plural of roofs, not rooves?) and being trapped indoors. i hope you all had a stash of cereal to live off of for a while.

time to do homework. ciao for now.
