easter hail

it's been a week, i know, but i am finally posting easter pics. we had a very cold easter day. the girls all hunted for eggs in a downpour of hail and rain. only a few of the eggs sprung leaks, so we only lost a handful of m&ms to the weather. i thought they were supposed to melt in your mouth, not in the plastic egg protection devices. the money was all good...since there was only change...and even then, not enough to make dodging hail balls worth it.









we actually celebrated easter a day early, because on easter sunday i watched my friend's 3 children. i watched them until friday, while their parents were on a work-vacation. we had a fun week...finishing off the easter candy and playing soccer in the snow. um, hello...it's the middle of april. when they say "april showers" i think it means rain...not hail, snow, and mud downpours. yes, mud downpours. we've had a couple of those this month. weird. i bet the local car washes are loving it.
