a short visit

mitchel and kentucky-louisiana were supposed to come stay with me last weekend, but before they left town their plans were thwarted by a faulty car tire. sad for me. lucky for them, it was discovered before they were on the road. however, they were able to come a couple days later, but not for very long. it was fun to see them. we, along with kirby and faye, went to the cheesecake factory to eat dinner on monday night. check out the size of this burrito:

you know it was ginormous because i couldn't even finish it. sadly, i took it home and forgot about it, so now, a week later, it's still in my fridge...probably pretty nasty by now. look at the yummy sandwich mitchel and faye shared:

and kirby and kentucky-louisiana both got mac & cheese, which actually tasted like alfredo:

yummy stuff. i wish they could have stayed longer, but seeing as how my magic lamp is broken, that just wasn't possible. maybe next time.

Umm, not to be a kill-joy, but Monday is not part of the weekend and I don't think that big honkin' burrito is on your week day diet . ..

Love your haircut! I've been waiting for you to post a pic!

Hey Kill-Joy, thanks for pointing that one out! You're right...but I didn't eat it ALL...that's something, right?

Thanks for the haircut compliment. It's growing out to a more enjoyable length now, the back is still a bit too short...no curls...sad.

Is kentucky-louisiana really someone's name? Wow

I believe I have a picture of that exact same burrito on my blog! Funny! Their food is gigantic. Looks like you're having a blast in your new setting!

P.S. Is that kid in the Witness Protection Program?

Christin, no, names have been changed to protect the paranoid. Autumn, yes he is, but his mom gave permission to show photos as long as they have aliases.
