well, the long vacation from school is over. all the kids are headed back tomorrow, so i guess i better be there to make sure they don't eat too much play dough. wouldn't you know that the night before we actually HAVE to drive (or else walk the half mile) to school it starts to snow....again. i understand the need for moisture, but couldn't the snow pattern be such that it avoided the roads? is that too much to ask? well, here's a photo of me and one of maggie getting ready for a very busy time ahead. i probably won't have too much time to blog, but i may just need to get away from all the schoolwork, so i'm not saying i won't. hope all your kiddies are bundled up tight for their first day back. happy shovelling.

Nel, you look so pretty in the picture! I hope there isn't a ton of snow tomorrow and that your drive is safe. Have fun with the kids!
