watching t.v. and doing homework

i'm sitting here watching "the bachelor" and admitting it. it's the most dramatic rose ceremony ever. i'm trying to do some homework, too, but my brain is still on a 3 day weekend. it's been a bitter-sweet weekend. i got to see a bunch of my relatives, who I haven't seen for years, but only because my grandpa is sick so we all went to visit him. he has always been such a strong man, it is strange to see his body so weak. his cancer is spreading quickly, they don't have a confirmed prognosis yet, but things aren't looking good. it was a nice experience, visiting at his home though. grandpa just wanted "some fried chicken" so he sent my sister to the store with $80 to get some. the store only had $24 worth of fried chicken, but even that was too much for us all to eat. it made grandpa happy, though. give that man some chicken! so you see, i had to find some disco ball photos just to cheer myself up a bit. this is a downer post...i think i'll go back to watching "the bachelor" now. they're lives are ridiculous. oh, i just heard the rose ceremony, he kept megan!!! too bad he can't tell that she's evil.
