not a kitchenaid, but good enough

so, for years i have wanted a kitchenaid mixer. the color of my dream kitchenaid changes regularly, but the fact that i want one never has. well, my mother discovered that my sister had a geriatric oster that she was going to either yard sale or offer to her best friend. well, sorry shari, i swooped in there and tripled the offer (which was $0) and scored myself a free mixer. woohoo! i used it to make some french bread and it was awesome. i love kitchen appliances...especially when they're free. thanks sis, you're the greatest!

How cool that you got a free mixer and that you can make bread with it! Seriously, I had no idea you were a cook. In fact, I don't have 1 memory of you cooking! Why is this?

Dude that thing looks awesome. I bet it can shoot lasers, sew a button, and serve as an underwater breathing apparatus as well. Am I right?

I can't believe you stole my mixer! Although I must admit that I probably never would have made bread with it. I would have only made fun things like a quadruple batch of chocolate chip cookies. I like chocolate chip cookies and that mixer would have been worthy. I also think the auction was unfair, usually when you double the price at the last minute you win. I guess it proves that yes, blood is still thicker than water..even 19 years of water. I might feel better if you sent me some warm bread.
