i got a new swimsuit today. it is a windy, cold day, but i really wanted to try out my new suit. once again, the pool was freeeeeeeeeeeezing. they say that they are going to be getting a solar cover that will help warm it up, but i'm beginning to doubt that. it's nice to have the entire pool to myself, but i had to get out after 45 minutes, because it was just too cold. my suit was awesome though.
i'm pretty sure the lifeguards hate me, because they have to come sit out there for ONE person. they did tell me that they don't care, because they're sitting there doing nothing whether i'm there or not. today i started laughing just thinking about what would really happen if i started to drown...there is NO WAY those little, 90 pound girls could heft my body out of the pool to perform cpr. i hope they have 911 on speed dial.
now i'm wondering if they're going to give us a refund if it stays this cold for too much longer. already, i have found 61 cents in the deep end, but that just doesn't seem like enough of a refund. still, it's almost enough to buy a snowcone from hillbilly snowshack...the best snowcones in the world.

I'm cracking up! Maybe you should visit Lyndsey in the land of the stifling so you can really enjoy the cool of the pool. Or, just keep enjoying the solitude and knowing that you are probably keeping a young girl employed. Without you, they wouldn't need her.
Asa even went swimming yesterday but did not last long because he said it was too freezing cold. I am sure you keep the lifeguards entertained with your fun personality while you are there so I am sure they love it.
It's still too cold in Moab?
Kristina,
I don't know what the weather is like in Moab...that's not where I live. Thankfully!
I was just laughing so hard that Gavin wanted me to tell him what was so funny. He didn't seem get the humor.
