this is the life

i'm living the good life right now. the earliest i have to be anywhere is 9am, and that's only twice a week. i finally got my computer program to download, so i now get to work on illustrator projects from my own house when the creativity hits. the swimming pool is soooooooo freeeeeeeeeeeeeezing that few others will jump in, so i basically have the entire community pool to myself. (i'll post photos later...yes, that is a threat.) my mom gave me a ton of frozen blueberries, so i get to have smoothies whenever i want. by the way, does anyone know how many blueberries a person can eat before they overdose? no one ever visits me, so i never have to shower. my digital converter box now gets 18 channels, if only i knew spanish, i could watch most of them. maggie only poops in the house once a day, and it's usually in my roommate's bedroom. my brother-in-law replaced my bbq grill propane tank, so i can bbq my little heart out. what more could a girl ask for?

on to something more serious and sad, for any of you out there who remember Lynn-two Hyde (who now goes by Gordon or Doogie), he passed away this morning. He broke his neck diving into the shallow end of a pool. he was in a hospital in chicago for a while, but he had a stroke yesterday that was too damaging. he was an organ donor, so they kept his body alive until the organ recipients could be ready. this morning around 2am, he lost his life, but saved many others. he was my neighbor when i was about 8 or 9. he leaves behind his wife and three adorable children. i am so sad for them. if you want to have a better idea of what the past couple weeks have been like, you can visit a blog that was set up to provide information: www.captaingordonhyde.blogspot.com

When do you leave for school? One of the things I said when I first found out I was having a baby was oh no I will have to take him swimming. Maybe you should just come get him from me and take him. That is so sad about your friend. I read the blog about him. It breaks your heart.

Get down here to AZ and the pool is NICE and WARM. It's 106 today. Wendy's? that's awesome. Love their nuggets.
