have you ever watched the antiques roadshow when they tell someone the painting they have is worth $120,000.00 and you're looking at it, thinking, "that's not even very good, my two-year-old could paint that." and then they say who the artist is and you've never heard of them? well, now's your chance to purchase what could one day be worth hundreds of thousands of dollars, from someone most people have never heard of, for mere chump change.
i am having a yard sale tomorrow at elaine johnson's house. i'm trying to earn some funds for my big move in two weeks. if any of you are interested, i will be selling a few of my original artworks from my college days. and when i say college days that should give you some indication of how amateurish they are. you may have seen some of them on my sidebar, because i used to show them in my "earlier creation" section.
they're no picassos or van goghs, but who knows, someday i might be famous and your children will fight over them when you die. for now, they're selling for only $15, so imagine the return you'll get on this investment...hey, it's possible. but anyway, if anyone wants to help support my poor college student fund, please stop by. they will look great in your den, or study...or closet. there will be a lot of other stuff available, too, there are about 5 of us having the yard sale.
in case you don't know where it is, it's somewhere near 86 w 200 n. and as an added bonus, if i do not end up being famous for anything spectacular, i will try to commit some horrendous, news-worthy crime before i die, so that the infamy of my name will make them worth a little more. deal? hope to see you tomorrow morning.

I wish I could be there! Your art is awesome!
Bummer. I wish I could be there. Maybe if you save me something cool, I'll buy it when you move up here!
I wish I was a local reader. At least I can say I'm related to you when you're famous or infamous ;)
