bathroom reflooring

i don't have any before pictures of my bathroom floor, which is unfortunate, but i did manage to snap a few shots during the reflooring and of the finished product.

thanks again to my mom and two of my sisters who helped me beautify my home.

here's mitchel (whose name has been changed to protect her true identity) putting down the mortar for the tiles.

here's sunshine band (also an alias) ready to hand off more supplies while she supervises the tile laying.

and here are a few shots of the finished product.

my niece picked out my wall paint, it is called dora the explorer berry bonita pink. i love it, even after three years of having it on the wall.

so there it is. hopefully one day i'll be able to do more of a major remodel in my house, but for now, i am satisfied. only now i have to be more careful about not dropping stuff on the floor, because mitchel told me it will crack easier than linoleum. it's prettier, though, huh?

That looks great. Good thing Beth doesn't know about that Dora the Explorer berry bonita pink paint, or we she we request that our whole house be painted in it.

I tricked her into getting her room painted the color I wanted by telling her the name of the paint was Cinderella's Slipper. She was sold on it after that.

Bathroom floor looks great, good thing you got so much help from those unidentified helpers. Did you get a new camera? Love checking out your blog, it always makes me laugh.

"Mitchell" and "Sunshine Band" did a great job and are very talented sist...uh...workers. It really looks nice!!It's because of names like Berry Bonita Pink that I want to work in the paint naming department when I grow up.
